Born in Bandung, Indonesia
Rino left Indonesia for Singapore where she did her Diploma in Ceramics at LaSalle College of the Arts. Shen then came to Melbourne to do her BA in Glass Studies at Monash University.
After living and working in Melbourne as a casual Indonesian Art and Culture teacher for a few years, she moved to Tasmania in 2002 and a year later she chose to live and call Geeveston as her home.
Under the banner of the HR factor, Rino and her late silversmith husband started their art partnership where almost everything can happen. She is now back in the swing to create and produce artwork after having been making nothing much for 2 years.
