Jo-Anne Bateman

I work from my studio in the Huon Valley mainly in acrylics, pastels, oils and pencil. In 1985 I graduated from the University of Tasmania with an Associate Diploma in Art, Craft and Design and have taught painting and drawing to both adults and children in the 80s and 90s. I particularly love the challenge of perspective and have dome numerous commissions painting people’s homes. In 2019/20, I held a solo Retrospective Exhibition in Queenstown, Tasmania and was part of the Art Trail at the Uncomformity Queenstown in 2021 and one of the artists exhibiting in Artbox Geeveston 2021. I love colour and most of my paintings reflect this.
