After many years working in the fields of Education and Community Programs both private and government I now pursue my first and true passion which is art.

I have taken classes in botanical watercolour art and I also work in acrylics and mixed media. My main interest is botanical art and illustration and I am dabbling in surface pattern design, which provides another opportunity to use and promote my art.
I recently moved to Southern Tasmania from mainland Australia, to a very peaceful and beautiful place which provides endless inspiration for my art. Here I have set up a simple studio in our pretty cottage which has spectacular water views of the Huon River and forest views. I look out my studio window to see blue wrens and crimson robins, it is a delight. I am often out and about with my camera photographing flowering gums and wildflowers which I use as reference photos.
